The Wayland-Cohocton Central School District offers families of middle and high school students (grades 5-12) a program called Schootool Parent Portal. Schooltool is the district's student information management system.
Parents and guardians will be able to securely access their child's information and monitor their academic progress throughout the school year. Parent Portal promotes a better partnership and dialogue between parents and teachers. Email capabilities with teachers and counselors is also available.
With a Parental Portal account, families can view the following student information:
Student record (basic information including contact information)
Schedule
Attendance (daily and course absences)
Discipline
Grades (progress and marking periods)
Assignments
Parental and guardian access to the Parent Portal requires:
Parental Portal Acceptable Use and Login Access Form (link found to the left): The form must be signed and returned. Access from any computer with an internet connection, as Schootool is a web-based application.
Valid email account, where initial password can be sent.
Confidentiality when viewing child's information.
The Parental Portal Acceptable Use and Login Access Form can be found HERE. If you are a middle school family, please sign and return to the MS Office. If you are a high school family, please sign and return to the HS or MS Office.
Once the form has been received and the information verified, families will receive their first Schooltool password through the email account included on the form. To login, go to the district's website: www.wccsk12.org and find the Parent Portal Login link under "More" on the navigation bar on the district's homepage.
Questions can be directed to schooltoolmgr@wccsk12.org - please be sure to include your name and the email address that is registered in the parent portal.
Sincerely,
Scott Manne - MS Principal
