WCCS ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT:
Wayland-Cohocton Central School is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. Personnel are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to the standards and guidelines.
This website endeavors to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, The American Disabilities Act, and New York State Information Technology Policy (NYS-P08-005). These guidelines explain how to make content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web user friendly for all people.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards with HTML and CSS. This site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant with HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display correctly.
Whilst Wayland-Cohocton Central School strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. The district is continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficulty in accessing www.wccsk12.org or other digital communication used by the district, please contact us.
Please contact Melonie Coley at email, mcoley@wccsk12.org or by phone at 585.728,2211 ext 3070. You may also fill out the online accessibility form available on the district’s homepage. A link to the form is found to the left on this page.
