Clarification for Wayland-Cohocton Fourth Grade: The Fourth Grade will celebrate with a Bridging Ceremony on Wednesday, June 14th in the Performing Arts Center at 9:30 a.m. Families should enter at the Performing Arts Center to be signed in prior to the ceremony. Following the ceremony, students will travel to Stony Brook for the annual field day. Parents can plan on meeting their children there at about 10:45 a.m. On Friday, June 16th, the Fourth Grade students will be taking a field trip to Camp Stella Maris.
Clarification for Wayland-Cohocton Kindergarten: Thursday, June 8th is the Kindergarten Field Day at Stony Brook. Parents should plan on meeting classes at Stony Brook Park. Events will start at approximately 10 a.m. Kindergarten will visit the Seneca Zoo on Friday, June 9th. The Kindergarten End-of-the-Year Celebration will be held in the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 20th at 9:30 a.m. Families should enter at the Performing Arts Center and will be signed in there. Families can begin to arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the event at 8:45 a.m.

This evening, Monday, May 8th, the Board of Education will host the annual public hearing on the 2023-2024 School Budget that will go before voters on Tuesday, May 16th. The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the LGI. (Enter at the glass atrium adjacent to the LGI.)

Don't forget Family Swim is Back on April 28th from 6 to 8 p.m.$5 per person. Children two and under are free, non-swimmers must have an adult in the water with them; 12 and under must have an adult in the pool area. Feel free to bring any US Coast Guard-approved flotation devices. (Depending on attendance, there may be a lane open for lap swim.)

April is Autism Awareness Month! Wear Blue on Thursday, April 20th to recognize the unique and special differences that make us all wonderful. Wayland-Cohocton Bus 45 is running late. It has experienced a mechanical issue while on route. Students already on the bus will be transferred to another bus and those still at home will be picked up but it will be as many as 30 minutes late. Breakfast will be provided for those students when they arrive. Everyone on the bus is safe.
A few Wayland-Cohocton buses are running late due to the weather. Please expect that if your child rides 45, 60, 32 or 54 students will be late.
Wayland-Cohocton is canceling all after-school extracurricular and athletic activities scheduled after 3:30 p.m. due to the weather conditions today, Tuesday, March 14th. Thank you.
