The Wayland-Cohocton Music Department announces changes to the spring concert schedule in order to accommodate a special event.
Wednesday, May 15th: A select group of High School Band students that will be participating in the first part of an Exchange Concert with Greece Arcadia High School in Greece. (More information will be sent soon to those who are involved in this exchange.)
Wednesday, May 29th: The HS Band and Chorus concert will be held at 7 p.m. This is a change from the originally planned Thursday, May 30th date. This special concert will feature part two of an exchange concert in which students from Arcadia High School will be joining our bands for a combined piece at the end of the concert.
Thursday, May 30th: The 7th and 8th Grade Band and Chorus Concert willbe held at 7 p.m.
Also, the Music Department announces the upcoming dates for Marching Band performances in the area:
Saturday, May 4th at 11 a.m.: Victory Park Opening Day
Saturday, May 18th at 5 p.m.: Dansville Dogwood Parade
Monday, May 27th: Memorial Day Parades in Atlanta, Cohocton, Perkinsville, Wayland and Springwater. (Times will be announced as date draws closer.)
