Pro Action’s Resilient Children and Families Community-Based Family Resource Centers are pleased to share with you exciting parenting education opportunities for you to share with families.
- The very popular Virtual Fatherhood Connections Group: Where Men Find Purpose & Identity, a place for men to share and learn together. Share your perspective about your needs and unique role as a father and learn about leadership opportunities on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 on Zoom.
- A “new” parent offering, Starting Life Together, for parents and caregivers with children prenatal- age one. A 5-week discussion about building a nurturing healthy relationship with your child. You will gain knowledge of 5 key parenting behaviors you can use to build a strong, trusting, and positive relationship with your child and receive a New Parent Kit.
- Building Your Bounce will be starting in the month of December. This will be an in-person group on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm at the Hornell Family Resource Center. Exploring four areas to Build Adult Resilience: Relationships, Internal Beliefs, Initiative, and Self Control.
- A Special Connections support group is being offered on December 18th at the Bath Area Family Resource Center starting at 10:00 a.m. We invite you to participate in a safe supportive group that helps families raising children with differing abilities. We will share experiences, tools, and learn from other families and professionals
