This information was emailed to families this moring:
Dear Families:
Below you will find a link to a new set of flow charts illustrating the process for student illness and the return to school for any actual or suspected health concerns. These were provided by the Health Department and will be updated to the Forms and Info section of the school's website building menus. This is a changing process and with increasing cases in the Southern Tier, we wanted to remind families of the process - which was updated just a short while ago.
In a related topic, families are minded to complete the SNAP Health Portal for your children each morning before school - portal must be completed for hybrid students on all school days, whether they are learning from home that day or on campus.
It is also important that students/families report attendance everyday. For hybrid students if a student is reported as absent and the school does not know why, the child cannot return to school until the school is provided a valid excuse from a medical care professional, faxed to the school. Attendance is also vital for all students, both hybrid learners and remote learners, as it has a large impact on financial aid provided
to the district.
We know this is a lot to manage for families and can be overwhelming. We thank all of the families that have been diligent about completing the necessary tasks. If you have questions, please contact your child’s school office and they will direct you to the necessary department. Tech support can be reached through the email chromebooksupport@wccsk12.org.
Also, please remember that all school meals are free to all children. This includes breakfast and lunch. Pick-up options are available by contacting the district food service department at 585-213-4315.
Again, thank you for all of your help during this unprecedented time.
