This information was sent out in an email to families today:

To All Parents & Families of Wayland-Cohocton Central Schools,

The food service team has worked with school administration to develop new processes to feed our students and your children nutritious meals in the safest way possible!  At this point, the USDA has approved free meals for ALL students through December 31st 2020.  This information was provided on August 31st- after we had established menus and placed orders- so we will do our best to stick to the menu as written (posted on the dining services section of WCCS website). Please know that the addition of free meals for all could increase our number of meals served in a positive way, but we may have to occasionally make a meal substitute.  There is the potential for free meals to be extended or cut short based on funding and we will keep you updated as we know more.  Please continue to fill out free & reduced applications so that we will have them on file when the funding for free meals ends.

For now, we have put in place specific forms to be filled out by either the teacher, parent or the student based on grade level/location.  Please refer to each section below to see how meal service will be completed.
