There is still time to register for FREE summer programs at Wayland-Cohocton Central School including Camp Invention and Middle School Enrichment, as the deadline has been extended to this Friday, June 7th. 

Camp Invention is a weeklong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education summer camp program to get campers thinking, moving, exploring and creating. A fun, hands-on, open ended experience that can help students build their problem solving power and make their own creative mark on the world. The program is for students entering grades 1-6. Families can choose a one-week session from July 8th to August 1st. The program runs Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Transportation is available and students can access the free breakfast and lunch program while on campus. 

The deadline has also been extended to Friday, June 7th for the Middle School Enrichment Program for students entering grades 5-9. The program runs Mondays through Thursdays, July 8th to August 1st 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and students attend all 16 days. If you have questions email Cassandra Willis at cwillis@wccsk12.org

Get ready to travel to Paris and compete in the Olympics! Students will be engaging in project based learning with a focus on a specific country competing in the Olympics this summer. By the end of the program, students will be an expert on their country and have an opportunity to showcase their knowledge through a culminating project.The program includes full day field trips integrated with the theme to build connections from their project based learning in the classroom and to provide more hands-on learning . All students will have access to free breakfast and lunch each day. Students attend half days for all four weeks of the program. Schedule updates will be provided for field trips.Transportation is available and students can access the free breakfast and lunch program while on campus.
